New at the Schlieren Campus?
A few practical info for your first days.
- Shuttle bus: we have a shuttle bus connecting Schlieren to the City and Irchel campuses. Here you can find the timetable
- BeUnity: Bio-Technopark Social Network for Events and networking between University, University Hospital, and companies. Click here and ask your colleague to share with you an invitation link.
- Restaurant and Cafeteria:
Restaurant Wagi-S: Enrolled students (UZH, USZ, ETH) are eligible to get the lunch menu at Wagi-S for a student price. Depending on your employer, you may have discounts.
New: The Wagi-S cafeteria is extending its opening hours in the afternoon until 5 p.m. (Mon–Thu) for your convenience. - Wagi-Shopping Area: the nearby shopping area you find option like Aldi, BurgerKing.
Food-Trucks: At the crossing Gasometer-Brücke you find Food-Truck offers each Tuesday and Thurday. - Have you just returned after your maternity leave? - Welcome back!
There is a lactation and breastfeeding room on the 9th floor Wagistr. 12 (IREM) with a refrigerator to store your pumped milk. The access procedure you find here (PDF, 252 KB).
Sport and free time
The Campus is located between the Schlieren forest and the and the Limmat river, ideal for walks and jogging.
In addition, there are several sport facilities at walking distance (<5 min)::
- Sporthall im Moos (Zürcherstrasse 78 just across from Wagi14)
- Each Tuesday 12-1p.m. guided Yoga-session
- Each Thursday 12-1p.m. free training (currently badminton)
