Day of Schlieren Research
The Day of Schlieren Research is a unique event in Schlieren that brings together the scientific community in an open and collegial atmosphere. It is an interdisciplinary initiative open to all research divisions of UZH, USZ, ETH, and partner institutions.
Held annually on the Schlieren campus, the event features presentations by early-career researchers, invited keynote lectures, workshops, industry sessions, award ceremonies, and a networking apéro, among other activities.
The 3rd Day of Schlieren Research will be held on July 1st, 2026. We warmly invite you to take part and enhance your visibility within the thriving research community of the Schlieren Campus.
All PhD/MSc students and early postdocs are invited to submit an abstract, which will be selected for poster presentation or flash talk. The four best abstracts will be awarded.
Registration is free and mandatory for all attendees (including BME683 students).
